The Holidays are Coming, Save money for 2020

As the 2019 Crisp holiday seasons are coming we should be always wanting to save money. The 4 holidays  that are around the corner Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years all cost a good amount of money.  From coast to coast people should be wanting to save money.  I know people think that buying on Amazon Prime is saving money, but there is a good markup on items sold there.  The independent sites like this one and others are the new Mom and Pop brick-and-mortar stores.  The new way to do business is in on the web for almost everything. In the next few years for some people there will be no reason to leave their house. The ability now to have a home job, food and other life items delivered to your door shows this already.

What will you do to save money? To save money you checkout every avenue on gifts, trips, food and anything else tied to the holidays.  To ever pay full price for anything is like slowly throwing money out the window. If you look around you can find coupons or bulk savings on almost everything. Another great saving is using rewards cards. When you build points on your reward cards it’s like a savings account. If you would save all your rewards points on different cards for a year I am sure your holiday season will be nicer.

What could be another way to save this Holiday season? I think a great one that I haven’t been able to take advantage of lately is family holidays. When a family shares in the holidays money is saved. Going to one house for Thanksgiving  and another one for Christmas is a big savings. If each family brings a little something the final cost is lesser on the wallet, as well as brings the family closer.

In 2020 people will have to start to think more about connecting with people more then ever before. It use to be so natural to interact with people for work, shopping and holiday gatherings, but there will be less need for that in coming years. This is showing that life tasks are being populated into Phones, Tv’s and even Drones making for less human connections.

I had hoped after 9/11 that people wouldn’t forget about how we should count on each other, but we have. So, this coming Holiday Season remember your family and friends. Make sure your plans are to share time with them and share in the good that your fellow human has to offer.
